So im going for the blacked out look on my ram and i ordered a front steel bumper and it came preprimed black, so now im either painting it black or powder coating it black.my question is - my front bumper is 2 piece,the upper part that sits on the bottom and the main front bumper-do i have to take the whole thing off to replace the old chrome one with the new one or can i just somehow unbolt the main bumper while leaving the upper part on? Does the front bumper have any air bag sensors i need to worry about or anything else??

 

the upper piece has to come off. its held on by the chrome piece...
