Do you have a camera, or a camera phone? What I would do is document it, whenever you get in your truck take a picture if it is doing that, then save the photo on your computer with others like it. But, in any case if you took it in I can't see how it wouldn't be covered by warranty and they can take their diagnostic charge with them.
