loose rear bumper?

Default loose rear bumper?

so this morn i stepped on my bumper to grab something out the back and my rear bumper is a lil loose odd ive never messed with the bolts or anything back there why would it be loose? im guessing like 8 bolts ill tighten it up but just as a warning maybe check your bolt once in a while to make sure everything is tight....

only on my exhaust hangers and rustmaster exhaust(just the seams it was put on in january) and maybe some where i cant see i live in fl and its always been in fl i dont have boat so it doesnt see salt water but i do live near the gulf with in a hundred feet and i do fish.....but no rust to worry me

well thats dam odd about your bumper. could a previous owner replaced it and not torqued it down right? ive never heard of a bumper just loosening up. good thing you caught it be4 someone else caught it behind u on the highway

its not that loose like its not hangin or anything it just creeked when pressure was put on it im wondering if uhaul had to take it off a yr ago when they put my hitch on it cause while it was at the car lot the one on it was taken off so it wouldnt get stolen something they do thats odd but they got me a new one put on b4 i bought it and here it is a yr later and i rarely step on my bumper so i just now noticed it....very odd tho

thats when i woulda worried about it no im not like that i dont drive around my beater with the rear bumper hanging down like some ppl....this was just a warning to anyone that the bolts can loosen up just from this experience

conclusion is the frame to the bumper isnt loos its the actual bumper itself im missing 2 bolts and a nut that holds it to the frame odd that there missing but ill replace em anyway while i was back under there i made sure everthing was tight even double backed on my shackles and leaf ubolts from my drop.....
