He wanted to use the money for a new olympic stadium. Maybe now he'll change his mind since that idea is out.

The Fiat deal is basically a smoke screen. Fiat basically was "awarded" 20% of Chrysler by the Obama administration without having to put ANY money into the company.
With NO capital investment in the struggling company, there is no reason for them to invest anything in trying to keep it afloat. Basically for Fiat, they can sit back and do NOTHING. If by some miracle Chrysler starts to turn a profit, 20% of it belongs to Fiat, if Chrysler goes bye-bye, then Fiat is out nothing.

IMO for Chrysler to see the year 2011, I think it'll take a miracle...
