Default Rear Window leak and Spark plugs.

I have a rear sliding window that seems to leak when I am driving and it is raining out. The water comes in both sides of the upper left and right corner of the sliding window. When I have my side window open a crack it creates negative pressure in the cab and pulls even more water in. The window appears to be sealed all the way around. The only thing I could think of was the the water was coming through a seal on the brake/bed light. Anyone had any trouble with this. 2002-New ram 1500 single cab. I will probably pull the light out when it stops raining. Which looks like three weeks from now.

Also spark plugs seem to be a good thing to change. Any of you guys change your own (2002 4.7) and if so which ones you running. I have read some DIYs and is it true that all you need to do are take the coils off clean around the plugs, take the plugs out. screw the new ones in to a certain ft/lbs (which is?) and install the coils?

Also any other tune-up things I can do to stay away from the 70/hr man?

Thanks

Seal around the brake light is a common prob. Take it off and squirt RTV sealant in there.

Plugs get snug by finger and then 1hour turn. Like 3'0clock to 4'oclock.

Rear diff fluid change would be good. Due every 30kmi. Synthetic 80w-90 or 75w-140 if you tow/haul

Yea my back window was leaking bad for awhile...every time it rained my back seat was soaked...Do what dog said and RTV it up

Put a bead of RTV on the seal on the back of the 3rd brake light....let it dry first. I stuck it on there too soon and now I have a permanently attached light.

Sounds like the leak will be fixed really soon.

Anyone having good luck with their spark plugs?

I just did mine in my 5.7 and went with standard champion coppers.Had 26k on my old ones that came out and they looked real good yet.All 16 where burning the same.I dont think the high priced ones are worth it especially if i follow the service schedual and change them every 30k or so.JMO
