I looked at the Nitto's, they are just hard to find in western kansas. I only found one tire shop that sold Toyo's within 30 miles, plus i'm wanting 10 ply tires which are more expensive.

YES, another Kansan! Lol I'm pretty sure there is a place in Olathe that sells Toyo's, Nitto's and, so on. You might look up a place called Becker Tire it's here in El Dorado and they could tell you where they get their supply from and you might be able to go from there. It's gonna cost ya more that way though, I know I got boned on my tires I overpayed big time.

I think I will be getting a somewhat good deal in Garden City. He has 285/75/17 8 or 10 ply, not sure which one (load range D or E) for about $225 mounted and balanced. The only 8 or 10 ply tire that i can get cheaper around here is the Kumho Road Venture A/T. Which is a good tire, I am just not fond of the tread pattern.

O your farther west than I thought you were, lol. Yea I will never buy locally again, I got f-ed in the a on that deal. I payed close to 900 for a set of tires that should have cost me less than 600.
