I was driving down the road today and we stopped at an atm .When I got back in the truck the engine wouldn't start. So I waited a couple of minutes and It started up, But the check engine came on and it stayed on until I put a can of STP fuel injecter cleaner in it. after doing that the light went away. It's a 04 4x4 quad 4 with a Hemi. The engine sounds great. oil is ok. It only has 5,000 miles on it. any Ideas.? It's also raining out.

 

Had you recently put gas in the truck???? I've heard of the check engine light coming on if the gas cap isn't put back on right. Not sure about the truck not starting.

 

No, I put gas in it last week. The only other thing I did was, I had to put a power wrench cable in the truck for my boat. So I had to unhook the battery for a while. I didn't remove the wires, I just took one nut off and then put the extra wire on then I did the same with the other wire. But I drove it after that and no ck. engine light. Maybe with all this rain we had something got wet.
