Everyone has their own opinion of exhaust....old guys generally don't like drony loud ones, young guys do usually. I know my grandpa got in my truck the other day, and about halfway there asked if I needed the money to get my exhaust fixed because he wouldn't mind paying for it...he gave me a face I had never seen before when I told him that I had PAID to get it like that...Im about to switch from straits to a SI/DO magnaflow, guess Im getting older!
Hey just FYI I just installed the muffler you are talking about getting,I left the front stock resonator on and I am really happy with the sound not too loud but still sounds good when you step on it. I am 33 so I guess I like medium loud exhaust,lol

To the OP, What Cherry Bomb muffler are you referring to? I have heard some that I really liked,I actually have owned them in the past and really liked them. or........are you actually an undercover employee of Flowmaster?

in all my exp. with cherry bombs, im going to have to agree with the OP. ive never heard a cherry bomb that sounds good. unless you like the sound of dog turds being fired through a potato gun.

Wow, I've never heard a Cherry Bomb I didn't like. I haven't owned one since the mid 80's when I had a pair of their glasspacks on my Nova SS.
But when I heard Pyro's CB Extreme on his 4.7 it convinced me that when I get to it I'm gonna replace my FM 50HD with one...

i have had plenty of my friends with them on their chebys and furds v8's and v6's and they have all sounded terrible. although i must admit ive never heard one on a dodge, but i couldnt imagine it sounding much better than either of the competition.

Check out some of the clips on youtube, you might change your opinion. There are some on there that sound really good.

flowmaster, magnaflow, cherrybomb, dynomaxx ect..ect.. they all sound the same to me over the internet. IMO there are 2 places to be to accurately judge an exhaust note. in the vehicle and behind the vehicle. not billy-joe-bobs i-phone video.
