Default Has anybody ever seen these diff covers???

Check these out!! I wonder how their longevity is, especially in severe cold weather... Pretty cool though if you ask me.

Polycarbonate is very tough stuff. However, it's still plastic and I don't think i would ever own one. No reason i need to look at the fluid. That's what the plug is there for on the stock metal one's.

not everyone saw it two weeks ago. I dont think he had the time to search your post history.

I wonder if that polycarb hazes up over time or stains with burnt oil? Alot of plastics stain over time, and how many clear plastics don't oxidize over a few years?

On another note, Ive been thinking about painting mine, maybe lay it out with masking tape and paint over a basecoat with something bright...how yall think it would hold up?

I dont know, maybe a silver? I am murdering my truck when I get time off around christmas, so I dont want to do anything that wouldnt match that. I was thinking of putting "MATT R" in the dodge looking letters...I dunno though

at least you wouldnt have to pop the cover off to see if the retainer clips are laying in there
