Well today i got bored and decided since it was cool out to clean my tb. not hard to do and it was really dirty. i just have one question. when i took the tb off, in the manifold was kinda of discoloration. like orange looking. is this normal? here are some pics

how can you let it get sooo dirty lol in all my trucks that is always cleaned after every oil change.

 

that is perty dirty... i would doubt if mine was ever cleaned when i bought it... and it was not half as dirty as yours...
looks like you need to wash your engine compartment

 

yea i know i need to clean the engine compartment lol

how do i clean inside the manifold? i just took it for a drive and def. got some throttle response back

 

well ya your butterfly couldnt even open with all the doo doo butter around the TB

 

it was opening ok. now i just need to do my spark plugs and im done lol

 

dont forget the egr? glad i dont have that one anymore

 

is that at 30k?

 

i think so? its recomended to check /clean like the TB but they are so delicate its just easier to replace it 50 bucks tops last i saw
