Off Topic: Went Offroading in my Work Truck today (pics)
Went in to work today (on my off day) to get some more driving time in to maintain my license. drove a total of 200 miles, 90 of them being off road. and being on Camp Pendleton, CA we have some pretty awesome off road trails to practice on. So here are a couple pics from todays adventure. the truck is an OshKosh AS/32 P-19A Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicle. Powered by a Cummins inline 6cyl with a 5spd allison tranny and AWD with lockers. Onboard it carries 1000 gallons of water, 130 gallons of foam concentrate, 540lbs of halon, 500ft of hose, numerous rescue tools, and 4 fire fighters with all required gear. a couple more cool things about this truck is that it has a power divider which allows you to engage the pump and drive at the same time, and also the truck is separated into 3 sections allowing it to articulate when driving on uneven terrain.
This post also makes me wonder, what do the rest of you guys drive as a work truck? if you drive something other than your ram for work, lets see it!

Well I have a suprise for you guys..I get to drive a 2009...
tricycle... comes with ABS, three wheel drive for those awful weather days and if I choose to do some offroading up the mountains, I'm getting a push bumper next week.
But seriously, that rig in the OP looks like a fun time, can I sign up for a ride along??
