Default EGR delete??

Anyone figured a way to do this?? would it gain any benefit...i know it must gain some rather than having hot exhaust gasses going back into your intake system.

This is a mod on the newer 6.7 Diesels as well. Might find something on the Cummins side to point you in the right direction. I was looking at a Diesel a while back and stumbled into all of this. It is apparently a part of the solution to the DPF issues they suffer. But that's all I know on the topic.

Good luck!

There is a restrictor plate that can be made to limit the maount of hot gases going into the intake which will allow you to use without setting codes.
ANything regarding turning off egr codes..etc will require a custom tune. You cannot do this with a handheld yourself. it is written inside the actual tune. My mustang had AIR injection, egr and rear 02's turned off through a custom tune. Otherwise, you will throw codes and your truck may not run right.

Is the EGR the tube that hooks back up to the air intake. The rubber one? I just unhooked that.
