That KRC kit looks good... Have you seen anyone with one on Teach?

 

yea but the krc is just a universal one. imo id rather get one that made for the ram...

 

It is the piping that makes it universal. The injectors and tuning are application specific.

Truckin, I don't know anyone running it. I thought about getting one instead of the other mods on my list but the remote turbo worries me with the crappy weather around here.

If I were to get one this would be the rout I would go. If its as quiet as they claim, it make for a great sleeper.

 

I looked into all the options... the issue with KB is his setups push everything to its limit thus making reliablity a issue not to mention the cost... the STS kits have alot of piping and have been known to pop motors due to bad tunes from the factory, not only that they are not intercooled so you have to make more boost to make the power with hotter air putting more strain on your engine... IMO procharger is the way to go... It's intercooled, its reasonable priced, the tuning surport is really good and with the injector + tune setup you will notice a HUGE diffrence even out of boost. With the F1 blower and a 6 psi pulled you'll be making around 450 WHP on a completly stock engine and have a very reliable setup. I've been running the PC for a few months now and love it... still working out some kinks with the tuning but I'm not stock and Johan from Diablo has been very helpful.

 

If you don't mind me asking, how much did your setup cost?

 

the procharger kit was.... i wanna say $5500.. but that was with the tuning software and 8 injectors not the piggy back unit and the TB spacer with AUX injectors
