just wonderin, i have a 04 hemi qcsb with almost 70,000 on it. i was looking into upgrading to a 2006-2008 model. can someone tell me the main differences, other than appearance of the truck, and were there any changes to the engines other than mds.

 

If you're talking 4x2s that's pretty much it. If however you are looking at a 4x4, the front suspension was changed from a torsion bar system to a coil over system. Personally I prefer the torsion bar. A LOT of guys report "death wobble" like experiences, especially on leveled and lifted trucks that you never hear from the torsion bar front guys. Although many have lifted them without the problem.
Personally, I'm just more comfortable working on a torsion front end, and you can't beat the "free" lift/level you can get by simply turning the front bolts...
