Default Shift Kit Resistor questions?

Ok, My questions

1. Can you put just the resistor on the truck to raise Transmission Line pressure, with out all the internal valve body parts?

2. If so does anybody know what the size of the resistor is and which two wires they go in between, from what I can see there are three wires that go into the Transmission.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 w/5.7

I searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this, I found post about how guys did it so that they could plug them in and pull them out quick, but not what size the Resistor is.

I think you just cut the torque management wire for the trans. Do a search, I think there may be a FAQ about it.
