Default Hey, I need some serious help

Ok, So the other day I bought a K&N cold air intake for my
07' 5.7L dodge ram. *Bought it early 08'*

I just installed it, Took it for a test run, And loved it.

HOWEVER,
I floored it, And turned a corner and the engine shut off.
I turned it back on, Drove a few yards then it shut off again,
then wouldn't turn back on for 5 minutes.

I managed to get it home, But now I don't want to drive it
because it would void the warranty, And the check engine light is on.

Does anyone know what's wrong, or what I could have
done wrong?

It came with no instructions, Its an intake, you dont need it,
but there could be something I missed.

Edit: I found the problem. My Gas/Air Mixture is too lean.
What can I do to get my Intake to work without this happening?
There is some sort of program I believe but I'm not sure what.

did you bump the sensor inside the TB by accident? Also some of the oiled filters have been known to be a little too oiled out of the box, it's possible some oil/gunk got on the sensor...

Ive had a CAI since Ive had my truck and never an issue like this. How do you know it is too lean? Did you test with a A/F gauage and if so what were the numbers?
