Yep, you're gonna be a bit disappointed if you run that thing on a dyno. With Headers, CAI, Tuner, E-fan, etc, I'm barely making 300 RWHP...

Well guys, I posted 400 in hopes that I can make that at the crank. I know that I would need about 600 hp for 400 at the rears.. not happening without major mods, like supercharger and upgraded fuel system....
with about 25% drivetrain loss, 400 at the crank will most likely come out a little lower than 300 at the rears..
so with stock being about 255-260 (from what Ive read) with 345 stock at the crank, im hoping to at least make 385 fwhp, or 285-290 at the rears..
Lets wait and see. I will let you guys know here in a month or so..
(got to many things to do between now and then..)

You're still a little off with your numbers there... Drivetrain loss on these trucks is more like a 30% loss.... It be great if it was only 25% like everyone elses

Every time I read about the 30% loss it makes me feel like this . That much loss should not even be allowed.

Has anyone seen a Hemi dyno'd at the crank? What if dodge just rated the hemi optimistically. I've heard chevy used to low ball their HP numbers in the camaro SS.

I know they use to do it with the older muscle cars, they would severly under-rate the performance specs, but I have not heard of them reversing it rating the specs much more than what the car/truck actually produces.
