Welcome to the forum.

I can't see how putting a wheel back on would cause brake problems.
Sounds like the caliper might be sticking or the rubber brake line has internally collapsed causing pressure to stay on the caliper and is making the pads drag.
Jack it up and see if the wheel turns free.

along with what lex said, maybe you bumped the metal part of the line with the tire and pinched it or something??

Yeah+1 with what the guys said.
Sounds like the caliper is sticking causing your brake to bind for some reason.
Is the truck pulling to one side under braking?
Go for a drive and when you smell this acrid smell, brake steadily and let go of the steering wheel a "little". Watch for pulling to one side.
If it does, the calipers sticking.
Al.

no, it dosent pull to one side or the other and the front wheels still spin freely, they <<<<Firestone>>>>>> used a impact to tighten it, could it have been put on too tight?

Could possibly warp a rotor if it was not flush when they buzzed the lugs on.

geez lxman...great minds think alike i guess....i'm gonna go with lxman again...the rotor might be warped causing the pads to come in contact with the rotor as it goes around very fast. does it usually only happen at high speeds? or when your braking?

See, that's why you should always "torque yer nuts" lol instead of using an impact.
But, he said that the wheels span up nice and free.
I would have thought he'd have heard a warped rotor rubbing as the wheel revolved??

no, it only shakes when i am beteween 50-60 mph. It runs fine till i get to about 55 and it shakes badly and when i get above 60 it goes away. Is it possable that the tire is on kinda bobled, not flush when it was put on, and is wobbling when i reach these speds? and i dont hear anything going down the road while its happening.
