Default Just installed LT headers.. AWESOME!!!

Got my Dynatech headers installed, I am really impressed.
They went on easier, than the stock stuff came off. Everything fit really well.
Instant wide eyed ear to ear grin smilin power gratification.
The engine revs up so much easier now, and the power is really good.
I was suprised by how quiet they actually are. I have them hooked to the stock water heater muffler right now, but still a decent quiet note.
Cant really tell they are on there until YOU HIT THE GASSSSSS!!!!
then RAAAWWWWWWW!!!!
Cant wait to get the other parts in the mail, and tune it..
Im thinking that I should be able to pickup at least 35-40 hp with all that stuff, and possibly get close to 400 hp with a good dyno tune. (well maybe not 400 with a good driveability tune, but dang close i bet..)

Got any pics of your new setup? What did you do after the headers, y pipe, true duals?

What other parts are you getting in the mail? Probably something good if you are planning on hitting 400 at the wheels on the dyno.

Well,, maybe not 400.. probably have to go with a cam and intake for that..
getting a magnaflow exhaust, and a k&N. Diablo predator, with some dyno tuning in the future..
I dunno how these trucks really react to all this stuff, im just giving up some wishful thinking.. but I bet i can at least get to 385 hp.. 40hp over.

theres not a chance dude. you lose over 100hp in the drivetrain. i think a more realistic expectation is 300 rwhp... that puts you over 400 crank, but thats still a major stretch without a cam and engine work. i hope you can prove me wrong...

no chance at 400rwhp. Even with the tuner intake and free flowing exhaust the last time I was on the dyno only netted me 276rwhp. Headers add maybe 20-30rwhp. My guess would put you right at or close to 300rwhp with everything you have coming actually on the truck. Even adding a cam wont get you that much, even with a cam your only looking at 325-350rwhp unless you go full bore and do alot more.
