Default LED interior lights question

So I installed the RECON interior light kit in my truck yesterday and am having some trouble with it. The map lights dont come on when you puch them anymore AND when you turn the interior lights on with the headlight switch and push the map light it shuts the lights off....

I've tried turning the bulbs around and swapping the two but seem to have no luck. Any ideas?

I had the same problem when i got mine. i only have the reg cab, but I was not able to turn the light on full power and even when the dome light was off there was still a glow coming form the emitter. i tried to call recon, but i never got a reply. so i just returned it and have been lookin around. i bought a cheap one from JB's and it did the same thing. im beginning to wonder if its my truck??

That's the exact same issues I'm having. Not sure what the issue is. Hopefully somebody can give us an idea

I remember seeing something about this a while ago. Might try searching for it. Seems like it was 6 months or more ago. Don't remember in outcome.
