Default Quad Cab Subwoofer

Does anyone have a subwoofer under their back seat they are particularly happy with? I am considering getting my self a set of tens for christmas and was hoping for some suggestions. Please include the amp in the information as well.

There is lots of information if you use the search method. You may find more answers there than people will answer here. Subs depend on enclosure and amplifier. has nothing to do with what type of vehicle you drive.

Sure there are. Try the little thingy called search method as i already mentioned. You'll have better results.
Also check THIS out.
The problem you are going to have is that many guys like diff things.
You are better off searching through an audio forum rather than here to find the best set-up as far as sound/power depending on what you are looking for.
SOme guys are happy with their Kicker CVR's, while I would never even think of putting them in my truck. Your gonna get many diff. opinions asking a broad ? like that. maybe the link will give an idea of what people are running and then you can decide what you like best.
Foxbox by Fox Acoustic appears to be a very popular well built box that is custom for our trucks.
Subs/amp....another story all on it's own.

Im with Dog although he is ~~always~~ harsh with his answers. Thats just how he is. However, he is correct that you will get (and find if you search) many different answers. I use the Kicker CVRs that he dislikes so much but I like them and thats just how it is. Some ppl do Fosgate or JL. The point is there are many answers and a majority of people use the FoxBox (including myself). But there are threads on that also. I think the best thing you can do it try to find some guys around you that have a system and listen to theirs and go from there. Just because I say I like that I have doesnt mean you will.

Weed, my whole point of the issue is that guys like diff sounds. Some want loud spl, some go for SQ. I'm the SQ guy, but i used to be the SPL guy. CVR's are middle of the road. they aren't bad, but they aren't going to win any competitions either SPL or SQ. Diff subs for diff tastes.
Same with amps. Some guys swear by Sony Explod, becuz they are not going for SQ.
I suppose I'm in a whole nother league than most guys here for what i am looking for out of my sound sytem?????

Thats ok man. I agree with you. There are so many varibles that I dont think a question like this can be fairly answered. Thats why I suggested he go listen to some and make his own conclusion and decision. Like you and I both said, alomst everyone will answer this different as we have seen it done repetively in the past.

Go with an Audiovox or Kraco setup.....rocks.......

just kidding..........ask around. We all have friends that have systems. Listen to theirs. Go to a local audio shop and they should be able to demo some stuff for you.

I personally made my enclosure by myself out of fiberglass so I can use up the most space possible. the problem with pre made boxes is they are cheaply built and have no air space so the bass sounds cheap and very hollow. I have 2 10" type R's and it sounds exceptional. My bass sounds deep and very clear. It sounds like the subs are far away and has that rich boom. Rather than sounding like the subs are right on top of your head. I know people will disagree with me, but I've personally heard both and if you have the skills I'd say make your box but if u just want some little bass go with a prefab. But in car audio, You get what you pay for and you can noticeably tell the difference between a quick audio install and one that some one took their time and did it right.

heres my setup
