I have no problem with the BFG's, I know PLENTY of off-road guys with them. Probably if you look at my hunting club buddies, you'll find more BFGs than any other brand. But I think they've let their popularity go to their heads. There are just as good, if not better tires out there for less money.
The General Grabbers, for instance, have a VERY similar tread, the compound seems to last a good 25% longer than the comparable BFGs and cost good bit less.
