Default Tilt Steering Lever Removal

I am in the process of replacing the ignition switch on my 2004 1500 4x4 ram, but am to the point of trying to remove the lever that allows the tilt wheel to tilt. OF course i need to remove the bottom plastic housing around the steering colum and the lever needs to be removed first. I hear that the Haynes manuals tell you how but I cant find anyone that has one in stock. So if anyone knows how to REMOVE THE TILT STEERING LEVER i would greatly appreciate your advice ! Thanks

The rubber part just pulls off. Twist and turn it and it will come off. Then you can take the housing off. After you get the bottom housing off there is a bolt to get the lever out of the way. It's easier than it looks. I just did this a couple of weeks ago.
