Debating on what to spend my money on - new tires and rims or new tires and 3" body lift?

Lift and tires IMO. You'll buy the tires and wheels, then want the lift (everybody does), and then wish you had bought larger tires...

You can always add wheels later, but if you get smaller tires now, you'll be screwed if you get the lift later...

Yep, lift it first then tires to match the lift later.

as mentioned before i say lift it with new tires. you could get 35s in 17's than change the rim later, but youd be constrained to 17's but imo more sidewall looks better and does better offroad. Just saying if you have 17s, or do you have the factory 20s?

I agree with everybdy here --lift that bad boy-- afterwards you can decide on the tires then rims.
