Default Gear install quote...

I got a quote from a reputable shop today to install 4.56's and a trutrac or auburn. he quoted me 200 for the rear + 300 for the front for labor... he knew about grinding the rear a little to get them in and said he has done hundreds of rears on all makes and models...
what do you guys think? decent price?
i probably wont be doing this for quite awile unless i get a bunch of money from somewhere but i like to get my chicks in a row just in case...

ive shoppped around a little for gears and lockers, and will be checking around on other forums and CL for a cheap set... what kind of prices have you 4.56 guys been paying for gears? and install?

thanks alot!!

hammer paid 1400 with an auburn I think. and I'm pretty sure there was some other guy that paid about the same, maybe a little higher, 1500 or so.

$500 labor is a good rate for the installs.
