Thats great news. How long have you been on the larger shocks?

I guess I will take a chance and I will get the Rancho, longer by 2", shocks.

Are you looking for a leveling kit or suspension lift? Cause mostly from 02-08 the front suspension is the same. I read that somewhere on one of the threads here...

Like my Daystar Leveling Kit Says..."94-08 Dodge 1500-3500 2WD"

Now you may not need longer shocks after all because, now i'm not sure if this is true for the 2wd but I know some 4wd leveling kits come with shock extenders/ relocation brackets that let you keep the stock length shocks. This makes it A LOT easier to find shocks. And it retains the stock ride quality.

Thats true, but I'm worried about the shock being longer therefore braking my ball joints. Apperently JRam_4.7 has a 2.5" leveling kit with 2"longer shocks and has had no problems with the ball joints.

if you need to limit articulation, don't depend on the shocks, limit straps are the only safe way to do that.

further, i did not intend to comment on this. i got lost with the related thread infinite scroll feature we now have...

Supention lifts/spacers. All over kill for what you want to do. I did a 3” splidel lift on the front of my 05 4.7 and 2” helper springs on the back. I still use all stock size shocks and suspension parts. I have 33” tires on the stock rims as well. The truck rides like a Cadillac and when I have weight in it or pull a trailer it doesn’t dip down or ride like crap.
