I have 2.5" leveling lift and my travel is nill???

I did. I got Bilstein HD F4-BE5-C603-H0 Stock Shocks for the 2500, they are 2" longer than stock 1500 shocks.

It's recommended to get longer shocks, even though some keep the stock shocks and have no problems.

I recommend Bilstein or Rancho shocks, make sure they are 2" longer than your stock ones.

I got mine from www.SummitRacing.com

Yeah but I dont think they make the Bilsteins for our 04s. With 2" or less you dont need longer shocks but with 2+ you do.

if you want to keep the same rims and tires then i would just level it IMO. just make sure you get the front end aligned afterwards and be sure to chek all your rubber on the front end and balljoints.

You did not have ball joint problems? I was told by Rancho not to get longer shocks.

At this point I rather hear from you than from Rancho!

Thanks for the replies so far. I do have another question, if i did get the 3 inch suspension lift and later down the road i wanted to add a 2.5 inch leveling kit, would that work out fine? Basically what i am asking is would a leveling kit be compatable with the suspension lift? And does anyone have any photos of there truck with a 3 inch lift and a leveling kit?

-thanks

My opinion is, anything over a 4" lift just makes the truck look cheap becuase that is when the tires arnt even in the wheel wheels but below them. I think a leveling kit with a bigger tire looks soo good. Even if you have to trim. Just dont trim areas that you are able to see. That MY opinion though. Not trying to start a argument haha.

Im thinking that the 3" suspension lift will level out your truck so if you add a leveling kit after, your front will be higher.

Edit: Not sure if its compatible though. Anyone with more knowledge on this feel free to correct me or put in your input
, thanx.

Most of you are lucky bastards. RC doesn't have a lift/kit for my truck set up yet >.< but ofc if anyone out there can find one for an 08 1500 2wd qc. Please by all means . . . point me to it ^_^
