i tryed spraying spray paint in a cup and using a paint brush but it gets very liquidy.

and dont be fooled by chrome spray paint. they are not easy to use and are near impossible to clean without dulling. it may make it worse.

kill the orange reflectore by painting them black but leave the middle of the reflector clear, BEAR did on of his set of heads like that, it looked sweet

They make different grades of painters tape. What color is the tape your useing? They have a strong, medium and light adhesive and I think, in the 3M brand, they run green, blue and light blue from strongest to weakest. Good luck with the other one.

I haven't tried the lint thing, but I just used the weakest tape and it hardly pulled any chrome at all. and I hear the freezer works well. if all that fails, I got an extra set of lights I'll sell you for $20 plus shipping.

One of them is already taken apart too. Or can ship you just the inserts if you want to save on shipping.

Just leave it like it is, you can barely even see it.

^^^^ Buy another pair of inserts. Your lights will suck if you paint the reflectors black. Your light will diminish. You want chrome reflectors!
Chrome paint is kinda sparkly(no, no rainman sparkly...lol) i doubt it will look good at all and it will be very watery. Your better off getting silver/chrome touch up paint by Duplicolor.
I'd opt for new inserts for the price that Feej is giving.
