Yeah man thats one of my favorites on the Top Gun site.....i think its going to look BAD A$$.....congrats on the purchases....so when is DDay?

 

Its not really my thing, but damn is it going to look nice!!! My only concern is going to be how its going to hold up with all that on it. The weight of the tires plus the weight of those 24's is going to kill anything that is left stock on the truck. The 4.88's will help a little for acceleration and mpg but not by much. I dont think I have seen a 4.7 with that much of a lift and that large of wheels and tires, most of the time you only see it with the 2500's with a CTD.

Anyways, good luck with everything and I hope that it all holds together and works out when its done. Cant wait to see the before and after side shots!!!!

 

i have about a week left before its up and done. i'll be picking up the wheels on wed or thurs, after that the truck goes to the shop for the lifts and i should have it back saturday or monday i would think

 

im sure performance will take a hit, but im hoping the gears and SC tuning will help compensate. if it's only slightly more sluggish than stock then i'll just add new cams and/or a better torque converter, or maybe a supercharger. i figure there's alot more i can do to increase torque at the wheels to boost performance beyond where it is now, even with the added unsprung weight. but if it turns out to just be too much then i'll put the new wheels/tires on craigslist and downgrade to 22s on 37s. i dont want to turn my truck into a useless rock, but its worth a shot. but no matter what, i'm looking at a brake upgrade for sure...

 

i dont know how you sleep....man i would be soooo antsy......its going to be like getting a new truck all over again...

Trucks going to look awesome. I think you should have left the wheels black though, JMO. Anyways, where are you setting up your blog page? Cardomain.com would be something worth looking at. Pretty easy to setup.
