Naa I got a peg leg

It didn't sound nasty, but it was loud enough to be embarrassing. Truck is stock minus the tune. So it's not loud enough to mask a shift. It sounded like a clack. Not a clunk, thud, or bang.

It started to be noticeable shifting to reverse while the truck was fast idling (cold here now) but it was much softer. WOT 1st to 2nd was about it. Standard tune shift points

Chrysler is known to have excessive backlash in their rear differentials causing clunks when shifting into reverse or drive. i think this issue is seperate from your "clunk" that you are experiencing. Excessive backlash does produce a clunking sound but only when your not moving. Unless your shift is really delayed, there should be no clunk from the rear diff as there is pressure on the gears the entire time your moving forwards unless you were to let off the gas and the rotational speed is faster than the idle speed of the engine.

NEver noticed that with mine. Even with the converter and modified shift points there is no clunking or clanking other than putting it in gear, but it did that stock.

Invoice reads " Several updates to Engine and Transmission. Flash updates done to both. "

I like it. Truck feels better, shifts better. Seems more agressive too. It used to want to shift up to quick, with that "take forever delay".

best of all....no more noise. Predator goes on tomorrow !

Let us know how it does with the Predator. I set mine to shift at 5800 and have no noise or shifting issues.

Does it have a delay from 1st to 2nd ? I thought about raising it too, but worried.

DODGERT, Can you describe your "issue" during shifts ?

I've got stock wheels and original tires on, re-flashed OEM computer etc. Seems to only do it when warm/hot(Tranny) otherwise it's quiet.
