Hey guys,

My 05 hemi is pretty low on coolant- It only has 26k miles on her, and the coolant is already at the add level. I mean, maybe this is normal but not to me- wheres this all going? I would hope its not a head gasket- You'd think you could smell coolant burning out the exhaust. Am I just paranoid or what?

Check your tranny and oil levels and make sure there normal. Put some cardboard under your truck and look for wet spots the nest morning. Also most engines do burn a little coolant so, i think it could be normal that you need to add some.

I wouldn't be to concerned with it, at almost 30k and its just at the add coolant mark I would just add some more and call it good til it needs flushed. Now if you had just filled it recently and it was down that low then I'd be a bit more concerned and would look for any leaks in the hoses or the heater lines.
