Ordered a new Ram 1500 QC Laramie hemi back in february. Dealer said it was built in Warren Michigan on March 7. Delivery dates were posted and changed week after week. March 14, 15, 23, 24 and most recently April 1 and still no truck. How long does it take to deliver? I figure it's been damaged or it's sitting on a lot outside rusting. This really sucks. I've been trying to buy a new ram since January when gas was still $1.50 but the dealers basically screwed me around for months. Now the same thing with the factory. I'll wait until the end of the week and if its not here I'm off to give the Nissan store my $40K for a new Titan.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

mine took 10 weeks, in mexico, however I can´t buy a hemi motor only a 4.7 L, dealer problems with hemi motor in mexico

My dealer called the factory reps. today...they're looking into the delay. its been almost 6 weeks and i know the truck was built in warren michigan on march 7.

Ive been reading that the 3500 ctd 6 speed trucks are on a deffinate hold until furhter notice. Ive been talking to guys who ordered their trucks way bck in dec/nov and still havent gotten them.

 

well i know how they feel but if mine doesn't show up soon they can keep it. I drove buy the toyota and nissan stores today and they have plenty all loaded up the way I want it.

 

makes you kinda wander why you cant get any Dodge trucks, but the Nissan and Toyota dealerships have so many on their lots doesnt it... makes you go HHHMMMM

 

The reason you see so many nissan and toyotas on the lots is because they aren't selling like the dodges. Nissan and toyota aren't willing to deal like dodge will. Besides the fact that Nissan and Toyota suck!!!

when I ordered mine last year they claimed 6 to 8 weeks but it showed up in 4.
I live in Michigan and it came from the st louis plant
