I have a 2007 Ram 2500HD with a single disk CD player. I was wondering if the head unit from a 2005 Chrysler 300 would fit in my truck??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also, whats the difference in output power between the head unit I have, and this one?

The head unit from the 300 looks like the one in the pic that is attached.

No, that is the 09 style and uses a larger hole in the bezel. That is the single disc unit as well. You need to find a RAQ unit if you want a 6 disc cd/mp3 player. It does not have the mini plug for an IPOD/ mp3 player though. Our 09 Caliber has the style of radio in the picture, but it is a 6 disc dvd player that will play dvd's with mp3's on them. You need one where the ***** stick out past the radio.

 

Being a 6 disk or not doesn't matter a whole lot, although it would be nice. I just wasn't sure because the ***** on mine are a little different and looks like they make the unit round on both sides. Is there anyway of making it fit without too much modification? Do you have a photo you can show me of the unit mounted in your truck.
