Default Coolant Flush????

Well guys, I'm thinking about doing a total coolant flush (radiator, heater core..) im at almost 90,000 miles so its about time. I'm not having any issues with my heat so... am i risking effing something up by flushing it?

Heres the big question... how the hell do i do it? I read something about sticking a garden hose in the rad. fill hole and running the truck till the water's clear, but what rad. hose do i pull off to let it drain? How many gallons of fluid will i need?
So if you guys could give me some hints, tips, or a step by step id really appreciate it, and if you're too lazy (which i know most of you are) post me a link for a good how to

thanks all!

any auto parts store sells a nice easy $10 kit for coolant flushes. Prestone makes it i think. makes it real easy.

i used one before. worked great. Its honestly the best way to do it. if you took it to a shop, they'd put a T in the line as well. without putting in the T, you're only really flushing the radiator.
