ive got a lot of black parts on my truck and ive seen it on few cars but never a truck before. Ive heard you can use duplicolor low gloss w/ ceramic coating to get the job done. just wondering if anyone has done it? any pics? i just cant stand when my tips look all dirty and crappy, i wanna black em out.

ah hahaha... $140 bucks for an exhaust tip! thats how much i payed for my WHOLE exhaust. besides, im sure hed rather spend his money on a tailpipe whistle. WHOOOOOT WHOOOOOOOT! hahaha

i was gonna do this, but alas i go off road too much and bent the hell out of my tips so i had to get them dumped for more clearance out back. How big are your tips?

 

I have some black tips. They started out as regular tips that I sanded down and painted.

yours turned out really good teach, what kind of paint did you use? I think im going to try to get it done this weekend.
