another weird thing... usually when i turn the key to the run position, the usual dash lights come on, but then turn off after a few seconds, now they just stay on...
This sounds like something that the guys at SC will have to fix for you.

I'm not questioning his intelligence. I'm trying to help him. There is a difference.

When you plug the tuner in now, it doesn't do anything? Does it prompt you at all or it just goes to can't verify ignition?

EDIT: If you can't get it going this evening, your best option is what Jason recommended. Superchips keeps a copy of your stock file, so if there are any issues they can get you going.

the tuner is working fine, it goes through the setup, but when it tells me to turn the ignition on and hit next, it thinks for awile then says "cant verify ignition on"
i'm hoping superchips can just send me a fix, but im starting to think it might have toasted something in the truck...
thanks for the ideas sil, keep em coming if you got anymore, i really dont want to freeze tomorrow
