Default Help!!!

Well here is the situation. when I'm going down a hill or even sometimes on a flat my whole truck vibrates when I'm hitting the brakes it. I notice it more now since the temperature is changing. My pap said they changed the rotors and brakes a year ago but then again who knows
Another thing is when I'm driving slow like in a parking lot or something like that i hear this moaning sound when i turn and i took it to a mechanic this summer and they couldn't find the problem.

by the way it's a 2002 QC with the 5.9 in it

5.9 POWER WOOOO!

Ok back on subject, my guess is your front end is goin to hell. I have read numerous threads about the front ends on our trucks and how many problems they can have. I'm sure someone who knows more about the front ends will tune in. So heres a free bump for ya.

sounds like a typical rotor or break pad to me ...But i had this last week thought the same thing rotors or pads both were fine ..it was moisture between the pad and rotor . beaings i dont drive my truck but a few times a month . it went away after a few miles

If it happens only when the brakes are applied then I would be chking the rotors for warpage. They are know to warp. I know you said they were replaced some time back but check them anyway. Thats what i think.

yeah thanks guys that's what i was thinking...any suggestions on what rotors to go with if they are warped..I know my pap said that you should only put "chrysler parts" on it in order for it to not do that.. but i've heard some bad things about chrysler brand rotors
