Default Help!

Ok, I am new to the forum. I saw someones post on putting a floor console in their older ram. I have an 06 Quad Cab 1500. I have the "Jump Seat" thing. I wanna get rid of that completely and put the "full console" in. However I cannot find it sold anywhere. I contact one of my local Dodge dealerships and they told me I would have to buy each piece of that console separately. Is there any website that I can find this console whole in one piece? Also what is the technical name for this console? Please, someone help me.

Thanks for the actual name of it. Now, where on earth do I find one complete? Cause according to my local dealership it's gonna cost me like 1200 bucks just to get this console. I tried looking on Ebay to no avail. So, Please someone help me locate one. Or at least point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Well, he's definitely not lying, according to the parts manual, just the rear section (1DL12XDHAA) has an MSRP of 1200 (936 at Avondale) and that's not including the front part. I'd say do an online parts search, like car-parts.com or something and see what you can find.

Well, Car-parts.com didn't have what I'm looking for. I know this part didn't come in a ton of Ram's, but it has to be somewhere on the internet. I did one time find a wrecked SRT-10 ram but the seller wouldn't sell the console separate from the two front seats. I have grey cloth interior so it wouldn't have worked for me to buy all that crap just to get this console. It's plastic why on earth would Mopar want an arm and a leg for it? It's got to be somewhere. If someone could give me the part number(s) for the complete console that would help my search a lot. It seems like everytime I ask about it they assume the "jump set". To me that's not a console. But those are soo common that's what everyone refers to. I notice a lot of members watch this forum, and can't believe no one, but a couple of you, has answered. A little more help would help out alot.

Tried to view the link you provided and after registering it still wouldn't allow me to view it. Thanks for the effort though. Anybody else have any ideas?

Well guys I just know what I'm gonna do. The best answer I got from the dealership was to find a vehicle with that console in it and give them that VIN so they could find out what part number, or option code, it is. I was able a few months ago to find a wrecked SRT10 Ram with that console that the guy was parting out. However when I contacted him he said he would only sell me the console if I bought both front seats. If I didn't have a quad cab I might have done that. So, anyone know of a nationwide search for parts like that from Salvaged vehicles? Or maybe just a site that just has salvaged vehicles? Maybe I could find one there. If I just knew what the darn part number or option code it was this might be a little easier. But thanks, guys, for all your help thus far.
