Plug and play hid kit that works! ----- $100
So i found this site that sells hid kits and when u order u tell them they r for a dodge ram and they will adjust them so they work for our trucks and they wont flicker or dim and they will b 100% plug and play. My friend bought a set and they work mint. The hid kit is $140 but u enter the coupon code "ram" and they will take off $40! So the kit is only $100. Heres the site: www.3bspec.com
Thats great news but there are other vendors here (HIDextra.com) and other places on the net to get them a bit cheaper still. And with HIDs, if you want the BEST light you can get out of them and minimize blinding people, use quality projectors in a retrofit type application.
On a side note, they are way to high on thier D2S bulbs. They want $60 but i can get them all day on ebat for $20-25 shipped.

What? The HID lights? They are just more bright and clear light. I know my wife complained about the lights in her old Sunfire (halogens) and we got rid of it and got her a Mini Cooper with HIDs and she loves it much more.
Using a "plug & blind" (not plug & play) system where you put HID bulbs into a non-projector housing puts more light on the road and blinds oncoming traffic. You can re-aim to minimize the effect but since it isn't a projector it has no cutoff so people will still get a full blast of HID in their faces.
The cheapest way to do it "semi-right" is to first get some projector headlights from someplace like ebay and then do the HID conversion on them. At least most of the light will then be directed at the road and not at other drivers.

The bi-xenon uses one HID bulb with an electromagnet in the base.At low beam the bulb is normally angled. When you turn on the highs the magnet gets energized and "tilts" the bulb upwards a bit to simulate high beams.
IMO, get the hi/low kit.

Actually, most projector lights are made for halogen bulbs. You may have to modify them to work correctly with HIDs. My stock lights have a nice cutoff on them already. I replaced my 9008s with some HID 9008 bulbs and they have a nice straight line across the top.
