do you have circuit city near you or did they close down nationwide? cause i paid like 100 out the door for both my kickers around the end of nov last year on a 2 4 1 deal..... but i heard bahn 10's are no good 15 on the other hand are pretty good....i had 4 in the back of a regal....(look alike grand national)

 

or even check local audio shops they always have deals going on they just dont advertise...

everyone hears differant things tho .....but if you want id offer the kid with the kicker stuff 2 bills at most 225 but no way 250.....

What's the opinion on polyfill? To my understanding it is supposed to make a smaller box act as a bigger one, by changing the density of the air. Seems to me like if it did enhance anything, it would also lower spl.

Any thoughts?

 

I dont know about buying speakers used since these people could have totally pushed them and you would never know until they blow when you hook them up. The type E's and S's are the base version to alpine subs. The S is the shallow version of the E. Now the type R is getting up to the mid grade. The type X is the best. I would at least find some type r's. and remember the amp is way more important than the subs, by the way the type r is rated at 250rms I think but they can take 500+rms no problem. THe more power the better.

 

If you have any questions about audio let me know. I know a little bit from when I did my system. But if your like me and kinda OCD id have everything the same brand. I have a kicker amp and everything else alpine and it bugs the crap out of me becuase it just doesnt look the same even though you can't see them.
