Ok so I'm sick of looking at my chrome grille and I wanted to get a new color scheme and grill inserts put together.

First, I wanted to start off with a brand new, paintable grill shell

Second, I wanted to go with the Street Scene 4 pc black chrome grille inserts

My third option was to go for a one piece grill w/o the t cross members, just full horizontal insert.

Here is where I would love your input....


A) OEM paintable grille (1st Link) + SS black chrome inserts
1. I want to paint the outside of the grille shell white to match my
truck and the T portion glossy black to match the inserts.

B) OEM paintable grille (1st link) + SS black chrome Inserts
1. I want to paint the whole grille white to match my truck and then
have the black chrome inserts.

C) One piece grille (3rd link above)
1. I want to paint the outside of the grille shell white and leave the
full insert black.



p.s. working on some photoshop pics to help.

 

My opinion: option 1, paint the outer shell body color and inside gloss black, paint the honeycomb grille body color

 

I like # 3.....check out shark hunter on here he has a sick "open" grill

Option one sounds like a winner to me.

 

Yup Option one is the winner. That would look real nice.

 

Go with number one, and paint the whole thing body color, leave the inserts the color they come. I think that would look nice.
