ha, silver the 'ole scavenger will find ya a hood good and quick

so if they paint the fenders, then they wont match the doors right? or am i missing something?

i plan on getting my hood painted, but theres no way in hell im paying to have the fenders done... they already quoted me at $380 for the hood...

My wife's cousin owns a chain of body shops. I am going to ask him about spraying the fenders the next time I see him bc I have never heard of that. I thought the point of getting a color matched paint was that so it would match the paint already on the truck.

 

ya im willing to drive a little while silver. I dont get it either thought with the right paint code they would just be able to shoot the hood and have it looking nice too. A little confusing.

 

If you find one jump on it fast. I found one yesterday real close by on CL for $250. I contacted the guy less than an hour after he posted the ad and it was already sold.

 

it looks OK, but i have no silver on my truck... im going for blacked out with a little chrome. and it has some imperfetions that i cant stand..

 

alright ill get to searchin for ya also dont worry about the paint man once they have your code they can match it easily at any good body shop. look at my grill that was painted at a body shop and it matched perfectly

well to bad u dont live closer bc the one im getting is black and i would swap with u...

 

It looks good in the picture. I don't really think you need any silver on your truck to make the hood work. The way it is really makes the hood pop against the rest of your truck.
