Performance Mods for my 4.7, or 7.0 Hemi swap?
haha, that was me who made the smart *** comment! there is a guy on here who is working on putting a hemi in his 4.7 truck, maybe you could follow his lead...
i just think if you add the insane power of a 7 liter, you are going to start tearing up the rest of the truck. hell, the trans and rear can hardly handle the 5.7. lol

why don't you try to throw in the beastly 488 c.i. V-10 from the 2nd gen 2500-3500. I know it would be a step back, but it would be cool and it makes 310 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque in stock form.

If I was gonna build a monster, I wouldn't base it on a 5.7 block. They are good to a certain level, but once pushed (I think its somewhere between 500 & 600 hp) too far they break bad. I would start with a 6.1 long block and go from there. Stronger from the get-go.
Yeah, those were about some torque monsters, but low RPM. But who need a high winder when you have 500+ ft/lbs?
What did you mean about the "off to a bad start with the Flowmasters. I've got a Super 40 on mine and love it with no problems. Do I need some other muffler?? I just don't think that going by what a few other people put on their truck/car makes a difference compared to if it works or not.
