I just got my flowmaster 40 single in/out replaced with a magnaflow single in duel out. The only complaint about the flowmaster would be drone at about 1800-2000 rpms. But it could just be my setup I had, yours might not have it.

Between the two original choices, I would go Magnaflow. But you can't go wrong if you decide to go with an AT.

Thanks all for all the info so I will be looking at the magnaflow or the AT. I still need to post pictures my truck is just getting started so not much to see yet but the lift. Truck is like new thought got it 3 months ago when I went to buy new and noticed this one had 10k on the miles and the price was less then half a new one so why not.
Still really like the new ones this year but heck for the price the truck is paid off.

Here is a chart I found a while back, but I don't see AT on it...

True, it is a few years old. I will have to see how loud ATs are, as I am also interested in a muffler change, but don't really want to hear it.

The AT is pretty loud but cruising it's pretty mellow, the XL version (resonated) will be quieter and quieter yet if you keep the stock resonator.

Magnaflow. Great sound. Best flow.
I have one on the Ram and a pair on the 5.0 Mustang. They flow much better than the 2 chambered 40 series Flowmasters that I have.

I just ordered the Aeor 3030XL (reasonated) muffler off Ebay for $80. Have to get it installed and decide whether to keep the stock reasonator or not.
Flowmaster was just a bit drony for me. Especially, when just trying to talk to someone in the cab.
