Has anyone here looked for, found, and may be installed a short throw shifter for our trucks? Manual trans of course.

 

im also looking.. if worst comes to worst for me.. il be welding in and installing the srt hurst shifter..

 

I have not looked, but I don't have a manual trans (yet). I had to make my own for my old VW Rabbit before. I welded a piece onto the factory shift linkage, and drilled another hole it it for the linkage to match up with...

I am not too sure about doing that kind of mod myself. I am looking for more of a bolt on. I have no welding experience. Though it would give me a chance to learn . . . .

I checked out Summit's product and will call them Monday to see if they have a kit for my transmission. Thanks for the information.

 

theres a goofy thing...like a washer/housing thing. shim the four bolt up with washers.
