AMP connector issues
Ok, so this weekend I am trying to do my 5.7 to 6.1 conversion kit and it comes with these AMP connectors and wires. So you are suppposed to take the wires and push them in the back of the AMP connectors holes and then plug the connector into the coil. The problem I have is i cannot get the wires to push into the connector. They are key cut and the wires have very small wing like tabs you have to line up in the plastic connnector itself. Thats not the issue. I can get those lined up but they still wont go in far enough to lock into place. I have tried using a dab of clean cooking oil also to lube things up.
Anyone had any luck or experience with these things? They are supposed to look like whats in this thread HERE.

Nevermind guys, false alarm. I just figured out the front yellow peice inside the AMP connector was push down and "locked" into place so it wouldnt let me push in the wires. Once I snapped that out I was able to freely push them in. Ill post pics later.
Mostly for looks but also clears room for my 6.1 intake Im going to get later on. I got some pics of the work i got done today but that truck whooped on my **** today and Im tired. I will upload later.
Dirty, that package came in today BTW
