Default Looking for info on bulbs......

I am looking to replace my stock bulbs (headlight and fog light) with some new ones that have the blueish look to them, and was wondering which ones I should buy. Someone told me PIAA but I figured someone on here would know......I only want direct replacement bulbs not ballasts and all that.....I'm thinking I need 9007 and H13??? Are the cheaper ones on ebay just as good?

Also, I am replacing my orange cab lights with smoked and wanted to change the orange bulbs that come with them. Is it possible to get the blue bulbs for those?

I have a set of New never opened Silverstar H13 bulbs. Whiter light with tiny bit of blue. Actual bluish light is not useable(low light ouput) and is very eye fatiging btw.
New Sylvania Silverstars $25 shipped
Practically new 1 month old Silverstars. Have original packing too. $20 shipped

I run the Silverstar's in my head lights. Not real blue, but very white light and much easier to see at night. I have the Silverstar Ultra's in the fogs, even brighter but they don't make these for the headlights yet.

Yah, i've heard the piaa headlight bulbs have a awesomely bright white beam, but i think they are about $80 per pair. Personally, i have the Sylvania Silverstars on my truck. They are in my headlights, fog lights, & in my hellas. They cast a brighter (with a white beam), wider, lengthy beam. Temp. output on them is about 4k. If you want somehting with a bluish tint, you have find something about color temp. of 5k. And as for you cab lights, the only legal light up there is amber.

FYI.........your headlights are H13/9008. Your fog lights are the 9006.

I bought some of the HID look ones on eBay - the 8000K for the fogs and headlights, and some H3 3000K yellow ones for the Hellas behind the grill. They look pretty good. I will do real HIDs soon.
