Anybody know if it is possible to replace the stock rear axle with a Dana 60 with 4.56's? I'm already sold on the idea of getting the low gears, but as far as the axle itself, wouldn't it be more beneficial to go with a stiffer axle?

Didn't the Diesel Ram's come with Dana's out back? I know my dad's 95 Ram Diesel had em up front and out back.

just got back but "big boi" didnt come with me they still had a bit of work to finish up so i decided to pick it up monday morning instead of making them rush the job. this was the first time i've seen it in person and i gotta say it turned out INSANE! doesnt even look like the truck i dropped off. they did a ton of custom welding and fabricating for me, i wasn't expecting that. rather than using the generic bumper brackets they welded some custom setups for me. i feel sorry for anyone that's dumb enough to rear end me, my bumpers DO NOT move! they were also in the middle of custom fabricating some steel gap guards & frame supports rather than using the plastic stuff the BL kit came with. awesome stuff, they're doing alot of one-off work for me and i couldnt be happier. well worth the wait i'm just so anxious to get in it and get it home. i did get some more pics though i'll post'em up in a few minutes when i get'em off my phone and resized.

Default Wow!

Holy freaking crap!

SO what do you use to jack it up if you get a flat?

I'm guessing changing the oil just got a whole lot easier!

Looks awesome!

lmao my wife asked the same thing. guess if i ever get a flat its gotta be towed, there's no jack that i know of that can lift this and still be small enough to carry around. suppose i can dump the spare now too. but the rubber was made for extreme terrains so it'd take a whole lot to puncture one of those through normal driving anyhow
