besides, by going to a Quality slotted rotor and Quality pads the difference will be minimal for the average driver. Installing SRT10 rotors/pads won't give any better braking under normal driving conditions than quality stuff that is an easy swap.
Quality is not some offbrand from Ebay. ceramic pads are not Quality, they are just low dust pads that have terrible brake fade when pushed hard.
The Cryogenic rotors are specially treated and are quality material.
Depends on where you get them from. Mostly people do it for the size difference. There is quite a size disparity between the stock 1500 rotor and the 15" SRT rotor and oversize calipers. What I was told is if you put the stiffer springs in coupled with massive brakes, you can about face plant yourself into the windshield if you don't have your seat belt on when you nail the brake pedal.

Stock rotors for the 1500's are 13" up front which is the same size they use for the 2500/3500's.

Most guys won't need the additional 2" upgrade unless they are racing all day long. the difference at that point is minimal. 15" just keeps you on the edge of bragging...lol
For ex. the difference between 11" rotors on these trucks to 13" would be tremendous. the difference between 13" and 15" is not that tremendous, especially if you were to replace with drilled/slotted and some nice pads. A 13" proper set-up ill stop as good as 15" set-up from highway speeds and slower. The 15" brake set-up will outperform the 13" set-up over 100mph. Who needs that?

Stock brakes in these trucks are soo much better than other trucks like Ferd and cheby.
