My only worry with painting the chrome is that on a plastic bumper cover thats painted you have flexibility when something shoots up at it like rocks, etc. With the chrome you don't so you may have rock chips and similar damage over time. I thought about that with 03 2500 when I bought it new but decided not to. Good luck with everything though! Can't ever knock the customizers!
